The War We Aren't Talking About.

breaking heart news: inner violence runs rampant.

"We can use our personal suffering as the path to compassion for all beings.” ~Pema Chödrön.

When we honor our Selves, we honor everyone. We honor every heart and soul in the hot mouth of the universe.

When we act against ourselves, we act against everyone.

When I hate me, I hate you.

When I take care of me, I am taking care of you.

When I love me, I love you.

When I destroy me, I destroy you.

When I gently nurture me, I gently nurture you.

Violence against ourselves is not being brave. It is not being productive. It is not being smart.

Inner violence

Is the war

We’re not talking about.

It's the poison we avoid admitting.

All the terrible, critical ways we treat ourselves when we think no one's looking,

We break our own hearts and blame the world for not being gentle.

We can always be gentle with ourselves.

Let us look within,

So

Gently.

Is

It

Time

To

Undeclare the war

On our

Own

Hearts?

Let there be oceans of honeyed

Peace

Inside

Instead.

Let there be so much love.
