Dancing with the Sky. (Part 1)

Sapphire hues hold me at twilight

Wispy clouds take me away

Treetops seduce me

How far can I reach up to taste heaven?

Heaven is this moment, where I feel plugged into the universe

Not so separate, not so sad, lonely, or awkward

I just am.

I dance with the absurdly blue air

Sapphire and cerulean hues lead me deeper

And I come home to myself.

Blues so striking they make me weep

Greens so lush they seep into me, like liquid grass velvet

To be with nature

Is to be with myself

Is to rest softy

In the star-speckled palm

Of the entire universe.
